Welcome to Z Tales. By using ZTales.com you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — if anything is unclear, ask us.

The service

Z Tales generates personalized children's bedtime stories, illustrations, narration, and music using AI. Free and paid plans include daily story limits and features as described on our pricing page, which may change over time.

Who may use Z Tales

Z Tales is for adults. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Accounts belong to parents and guardians: a child does not register, sign in, or use Z Tales on their own, and there is no part of the service intended for a child to operate.

By adding a child to your account you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, and that anything you enter about them — a first name, an age range, an optional description used to paint the illustrations — is provided by you, voluntarily, so that their stories can be made. We never ask for photographs, last names, addresses or locations. You can review or delete all of it at any time from the account deletion page. Our Privacy Policy and Safety & Privacy page set out exactly what is stored and why.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically (monthly or annually) until cancelled. You can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade anytime from the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Promotional pricing (such as launch discounts on annual plans) applies for the period stated at purchase. Because stories are generated and delivered instantly, payments are non-refundable — cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access through the end of the period you paid for. We may make exceptions at our sole discretion, and nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer laws of where you live.

Your content

The stories, illustrations, and audio generated for you are yours to keep, read, print, and share for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for the inputs you provide; don't submit content that is unlawful or infringes anyone's rights.

AI-generated content

Stories and artwork are generated by AI and are unique each time. While we design Z Tales to produce gentle, age-appropriate content, AI can occasionally produce imperfect results. Review stories as you would any content you share with your child, and use the feedback button to report anything off — it genuinely helps.

Fair use

Daily limits exist to keep Z Tales affordable for everyone. Automated, bulk, or resale use of the service isn't permitted. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent limits, or use it to generate harmful content.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Z Tales up, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may update features and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice to save your stories.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to Z Tales is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
