Delete your Z Tales account

You can permanently delete your Z Tales account and everything attached to it at any time, right from the app or website:

1. Sign in at ztales.com/login.
2. Open Account (also in the ☰ menu).
3. Under Danger zone, tap Delete my account…
4. Type delete to confirm, then tap Yes, permanently delete everything.

The confirmation step is deliberate — the button stays disabled until you type the word, so nothing this permanent can happen on a mis-tap.

What gets deleted, immediately and permanently: your account and email address, every story in your library, all saved children and their story worlds (companions, remembered details), your feedback messages, usage events, and any referral or invite records. Any active subscription is cancelled at the same moment so you are never billed again. Deletion cannot be undone — stories cannot be recovered afterward.

What may be retained: payment records already held by our payment processor (Stripe) are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires; they are not used for anything else.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can also erase individual things anytime, keeping your account: delete any story from your library (its pages, illustrations, and narration are removed immediately and permanently); remove any saved child from the storytellers card, which erases their profile, portrait, and story world; or open a child's Their story world panel and tap ✕ on any single remembered item — companion, last adventure, or detail — to make it forgotten for good.
