Questions
Does this renew or charge them later?

No. It is one payment from you and nothing more. After the year ends the family goes back to the free plan unless they choose to subscribe themselves.

When does their year start?

On the day they open the gift, not the day you buy it. So it is fine to buy now for the holidays.

What if they already pay for ZTales?

Write to hello@ztales.com and we’ll make it right, either by extending their plan or refunding you.

What do you collect about their kids?

Nothing from you. The parent adds a first name and any details after they sign in, and can delete them at any time. Our safety page explains exactly what is kept and why.

Is it a printed book?

No. ZTales is stories on screen, read aloud. If you want a physical book to wrap, a printed personalized book is the better gift.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, if the gift hasn’t been opened yet. Write to hello@ztales.com.
